Hild Elbling Trocken, Mosel 2015

The Elbling GRAPE is an ancient varietal, perhaps as old as the Roman Empire. It once dominated the German vineyards. Now it's grown where Riesling struggles to ripen fully. High acid grape/wine.We like this TROCKEN Elbling for its floral/clover honey/citrus nose then taste of lemons, peaches, grapefruit and orange blossoms. From limestone-rich soils in the Mosel.
