Herencia Altes La Peluda Terra Alta 2016

Garnacha Peluda is a variant of the grape that has hairier leaves and can work in a slightly cooler climate. It’s often blended with the more common Garnacha, but here’s a rare and extremely interesting single-varietal example from Catalunya. Slightly fruitier than Garnacha, with a floral, earthy, and very pretty nose, with grainy tannins, fresh acidity, and really crunchy red fruit (strawberries and red cherries). Distinctive and tasty.
