100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford bench & hillside. 75% new French oak, 18 months. Opulent and rich, get dried black currant & dark cherry with saddle leather on the nose. More of the same on the palate, plus baking spices, tobacco, kirsch and characteristic Rutherford “dusty” tannins. Long, luxurious finish. Drinking beautifully tonight, will age gracefully for at least 5+ years.
