Selectively harvested grapes. Individual clusters chosen for this cuvee, which has been one of the house wines at the Vatican for many years. (Winery goes back to 1684.) Crianza style: aged 12 months in a mix of French & American oak. Tart cherry, fine tannins, hint of dill and vanilla on the long finish.
