Heimark Winery’s Howell Mountain location, combined with Winemaker of the Year, Françoise Peschon, creates the perfect formula for remarkable wines. The 2019 was a near perfect vintage for wine that are ready to drink immediately. The usual earth driven aromas of sage, thyme, bay laurel and lavender lead the way with dusty fruits of blackberry, mulberry and plums. Peschon’s trademark balance of tannins and velvety texture are on display here.
