Purchasing this bottle was an immediate “yes” before we even tasted it, solely based on the amazing canteen-like shape of the bottle. Luckily the Silvaner inside the tiny Bocksbeutel is deliciously expressive showing lychee, white flowers, jasmine, lemon, and honeydew melon. Aromatically sweet, but bone dry on the palate, the wine will be the talk of the party and it will be the first to disappear. (Unless there is Burgundy or Champagne at the party)
