“MONTEE DE TONNERRE”

The Robin family is one of the largest landowners of Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyard sin Chablis, with 2.8 of the hectares located in the Montée de Tonnerre lieu-dit.  Robin’s rows are located in white clay and fossilized oyster shells known as “millefeuille,” or many-layered.  These soils produce a wine with aromas of sautéed lemons, crushed shells, light honey and incense. Broad and plush, with good mineral energy.
