Gros Ventre Pinot Noir "Baranoff Vineyard" Russian River Valley 2017

The 2017 Baranoff was another small vintage for this stellar vineyard, resulting in only 30 cases. This is the third year in a row that the tiny 3 acre vineyard has produced minuscule yields. The 2017 offers aromas of dark red fruits such as plum and dark cherry woven with subtle notes of dry sage, tobacco, orange peel, and underbrush. This is a pretty and elegant offering that is true to its cool, windy site.
