Gros Ventre El Dorado Vermentino 2017

It’s not often we find Californian Vermentino, and this is a stellar example which matches the best Italian wines. From high altitude in El Dorado, this is fresh and youthful with high acidity – plus some cream from partial MLF. Vermentino’s textbook salinity is present, with floral, citrus, peach aromas, and a pinch of spice. A lean, refreshing wine great on its own or with white fish or seafood.
