Grooveline Wine Co. Picpoul Rutherford 2022

It is not very well known that Picpoul is grown in Napa Valley, but a small  pocket exists in the famous Rutherford AVA, which is the source for this tiny 24 case production. The grape’s “lip-stinger” translation is tempered beautifully with creamy notes of coconut water, honeydew melon and daisies, Meyer lemon tart green apples and crunchy pears build up oil intensity for a long dry finish. The ripe fruit and ripe acid are extremely refreshing.
