Grande Roche Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2013

Ric Forman's 2nd label. All from his hillside "Estate" Vineyard just below the Howell Mountain AVA. This is his (light) press wine + barrels that don't make it into the $100+ Forman Cabernet. Sports a Bordeaux-y, savory quality of dry-aged beef, tobacco and soil along with sun-dried dark cherries, blueberries and black currants. Medium tannins and medium acidity make for a Cab that's very good now and even better in 3-5 years. About 500 cases made.
