Goisot "Corps de Garde" Sauvignon Gris Saint Bris 2018
How often do you see Fie Gris (Sauvignon Gris), and in Burgundy no-less? The “Corps de Garde” is only made in select vintages from biodynamic grapes grown in the Kimmeridgian soils of Saint-Bris. The wine is then vinified in stainless steel with ambient yeast. The palate is savory with a little bit of a waxy texture and a long balanced mineral finish with notes of wet slate. Aromas of exotic spices, vanilla, tangerine zest, flowers and a hint of chalk.
