Giacomo Grimaldi Langhe Sauvignon 2020

One does not think of Italy when Sauvignon Blanc comes to mind, but they are capable of making stunning versions that are a refreshing departure from the norm.  Three months of aging in neutral barrels on its lees impart a creamy texture to highlight the green melon and white flowers. Green apple, Asian pear, lime zest, and tart nectarine provide refreshing flavors that can be enjoyed in all seasons.
