Gerovassiliou White Epanomi PGI 2016

From the Epanomi PGI right on the coast in northern Greece comes this intriguing, quietly sophisticated, fresh, and concentrated blend. Malagousia gives weight and body to the wine, cut through by the acidity of Assyrtiko. A complex nose of lemon, grapefruit, peach, and nectarine, acacia, honeysuckle, and white pepper leads into a palate with a creamy, leesy texture that ends in a long, full finish. Involved but refreshing.
