Georg Breuer GB Sauvage Trocken Rheingau 2019

The vineyard holdings of Georg Breuer are vast, with multiple Grand Cru’s, TBA’s and everything down to village wines. The dryness of this wine is up for debate. Yes, it has 6.3 g/L of RS, but the total acidity is an unbelievable 8.8 g/L. A typical Rheingau Riesling with limited petrol notes, instead expressing weight from the shallow clay, quartzite and slate. Orange citrus, pears, apricot, lime and huge amounts of acidity. Utterly enjoyable.
