The tiny little appellation of Aloxe Corton is best known for Corton Charlemagne, but the region itself predominantly produces red wines. The Clos du Chapître Premier Cru climat, previously called “Les Meix”, it is situated in the heart of the village. Immediately drinkable with soft tannins from its proximity to the village, red currant, strawberry and red cherry that merge with great intensity and purity of fruit.
