Garnier et Fils Petit Chablis 2020

This Petit Chablis shows its sense of place better than far more expensive Chablis AOC wines with an immediate aroma of flint and smoke. The Garnier brothers own 23 hectares, with this coming from a single 2.2 ha parcel.  Bright and crunchy with baked apples, baked pears, all forms of yellow citrus and light floral notes. Classic, rustic and reductive with crunchy acidity, far outperforming its little brother status in the region.
