Garciarevalo Rueda 2016

From vines 130 years old grown on sandy soils, this Verdejo is a great representation of Rueda. It’s spent 6 months on the lees to give a creamy, nutty mouthfeel with a dry, waxy, mineral texture. Very fresh with high acidity and subtly herbaceous aromas of freshly-cut grass, jasmine, and green and citrus fruits. Great food wine: grilled fish or white meat or a traditional Spanish stew like cocido madrileño.
