G. D. Vajra Langhe Nebbiolo 2016

From the Vajra estate's young vines in Barolo, Novello and Sinio, this wine is a great example of a nebbiolo that can be consumed young, while still retaining its varietal character. Ripe red fruit up front (cranberry, plum, plum skin) leading to classic herbs, tar and roses profile. Tannins are persistent, but tame by Nebbiolo standards. Medium body and crisp acidity make for a great food wine.
