G.D. Vajra "Coste di Rose" Barolo 2015

This is the first year that the family has worked with this vineyard and they could not contain their excitement to release it. Floral and fragrant with aromas of rose, violet and iris that mingle with perfumed berry and eucalyptus. The palate shows an extremely approachable finesse that expresses soft fruits such as strawberry and raspberry. The depth is highlighted by star anise and crushed herbs before a white pepper note graces the lingering finish. It's impeccably balanced and ready do drink now or in 20 years.
