G. D. Vajra Albe Barolo 2015

Albe is “Barolo di Barolo”, a blend of vineyards only in the Barolo comune. Fosati, Coste de Vergne and La Volta all have different southern exposures and add distint qualities to the wine. They yeild a complex and rich Barolo that will age gracefully for another three to five years, but an absolute pleasure to drink right now. The tannins are round, w/ complex aromatics, and delicious fruit. This is one of Vajra’s most approachable and open Barolos.
