Fuhrgassl-Huber Gemischter Satz Klassik DAC 2021

The Gemischter Satz wines of Vienna are making a strong comeback as affordable dry white field-blends. An estimated blend of 35% Grüner Veltliner, 20% Riesling, 15% Weißburgunder, 10% Welschriesling, 10% Neuburger, 5% Chardonnay and 5% Traminer, the wine is crisp, brisk and peppery. Heavy Gruner influences, lemon/lime, lemon grass, pears, apples and a wonderful creaminess. Rocky minerals, more lime citrus, hints of the tropics and an intensely spicy finish.
