Frontonio Microcosmico Garnacha 2016

There is so much good Garnacha coming out of Spain right now, changing the perception of it being an everyday, workhorse grape. This comes from Aragon to the east of Rioja, and is all about its freshness. The red fruit aromas are crunchy, ripe, and juicy, slightly jammy in a fun, approachable way, with grainy tannins, and a spicy, licorice backdrop. Very drinkable.
