Frog's Leap "La Grenouille Rougante" Rose 2017

“The blushing frog” is Frog’s Leap’s cheeky name for their tasty rosé. The fruit comes from 70-year-old Carignan vines in Mendocino and Valdiguié on their Rutherford property, and spends just an hour in contact with the skins. A very fresh, light rosé (alcohol is just 11.9%), with vibrant aromas of redcurrants, strawberries, strawberries, roses, honeysuckle, sage, and thyme, finished with a dry, mineral texture. Quaffable and food friendly.
