Francois Rousset-Martin Poulsard Noir 2017

François Rousset-Martin has been making wine in Jura for just over ten years and his combination of attention to detail and hands-off winemaking (no fining, filtration, or added sulfur) have gained him a deservedly high reputation. From Poulsard, this is a very light, pale-colored wine which belies its intensity and concentration, with aromas of wild flowers, herbs, sweet spice, and chewy red fruits, all held together with high acidity and grainy tannins.
