Francois Pinon Vouvray Le 2016

100% Chenin Blanc. The simply named "Le 2016" was Pinon's only still white bottling in this very difficult vintage in which the estate lost 75% of its crop; it was aged 4-5 months on its fine lees in large oak tonneaux. The wine has lovely aromas of raw honey, lime flower, and earth. The finish is long with citrus, honey, pear and stone fruits. Techinically a demi-sec, but its is balanced by a keen-edged acidity. 22.4 g/L with a PH of 3.07
