Francois & Julien Pinon ‘Trois Argiles’ Vouvray 2020

Trois Argiles brings together 3 parcels totaling 3.75 hectares and having a higher proportion of sandy clay (argile) over limestone versus other Pinon sites. A small amount of RS plays beautifully with the racy minerality. Fermentation lasts two to three months, until the temperatures drop and the remaining sugars are then racked to barrel. Aromas of lemon zest, greengage plum, lemongrass, melon, green apple and quince.
