“CLOS DU BREIUL”
Many consider Chidaine the king of Montlouis, shining light on the region, which seems to be in the shadow of the much more famous Vouvray. Though there is a touch of RS, the Clos du Breuil is always dry, showing acute acidity, and in some vintages, it shows its austerity. Pears, green apples, honeycomb candles, and sandy minerals. A beautiful fleshy texture is refreshed by orange citrus notes and fruit blossoms.
