Forlorn Hope "Queen of the Sierra" White Calaveras County 2016

This is an unusual Sierra Foothills blend of Piquepoul, Verdelho, Chardonnay, and Albariño. They come together for a fresh, nervy, delicate style that’s filled out with some creamy richness, citrus aromas of lime and lemon zest, and a lightly spicy mouthfeel of white pepper and ginger. So much acidity coming from the Piquepoul and Albariño, giving the palate a real zing. Perfect accompaniment to fish or seafood.
