Fogliati “Bussia” Barolo DOCG 2016

Fogliati’s legacy is being expanded on by the third generation, appointing Gian Luca Colombo, one of Italy’s hottest winemakers as the masterful guide from vine to bottle. We were able to get the older 2016 vintage which is entering its drinking window. Classic tar and red roses mix with brick cellar aromas, but the palate is modern day luxury. Soft, creamy and light with strawberries, red cherries, thyme and a long well integrated finish.
