An out of this world Napa Cab at a down to earth price;  with the fruit spending 22 months in French oak, 50% new, this wine has been treated like many of the $100 Napa bottles. The oak shines, culminating in cigar box and dark chocolate flavors, while adding subdued fruit, herbs, figs, dates, blackberry, and mulberry.  This is not your typical fruit bomb that is often seen in this price range, opting for balance, earth, and technique instead.
