Filli Cigliuti "Vigna Serraboella" Barbera d'Alba 2016
SKU

Barbera comes in many guises, from light and easy-drinking to concentrated and serious. This is very much the latter category. It comes from 30 to 55-year-old vines planted on Serraboella, a hillside slope located east of Neive in Barbaresco. It’s then aged in used 800L barrels for 18 months to produce a wine that’s fruity and meaty with intense aromas of spices and red fruits followed by high acidity and soft, finely textured tannins. A serious, food-friendly wine.
