Ferdinando Principiano Serralunga d'Alba Barolo 2018

Grown organically on a 3.55 ha site in the prized Serralunga village, boasting  mostly limestone with small amounts of clay and sand at 1300 feet.  Such a delicate and elegant style of Barolo with violets, roses, red cherries, strawberries and sweet spice.  Black berries, mulberries, soft leather and forest floor come through on the palate. So soft, yet the tannins find a way to hang on to gums, providing lasting depth, and reminding you why Barolo is King.
