Frederico was voted Italy’s “Best Sommelier at the age of 23, authored many wine books and learned from a Sicilian legends Salvo Foti and Maurizio Pagano, then he built on that experience. What separates the “Rosso de Mezzo” is the special selection of the best grapes from Contrado Feudo di Mezzo. Highlighted by its finesse, grace and delicate complexity, the aromas of cherry tobacco, anise, orange zest and strawberries are almost Pinot Noir-like.
