From select blocks high above the valley floor on red, iron-rich soils which produce a structured, complex, profound wine that's generous and round with aromas of juicy ripe black fruits, salted dark chocolate, and smoked meat going into a big palate with a smoky, oaky texture, ripe tannins, and a long, spicy finish. A serious wine that can be decanted now or left for 20 years.
