Famille Peillot Bugey Montagnieu Sparkling NV

A sparkling wine made from the grape Altesse which is also known as Roussette. Most sparkling wines coming out of the region of Bugey Montagnieu are dry, however the region of Bugey Cerdon is mostly red and sweet. There are flavors of both green and yellow apple, lemon curd and a healthy dose of yeast from the methode traditionnelle. A great wine at half the price of most Champagne.
