Failla Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2015

Led by Ehren Jordan, Failla are one of our favorite local producers. For their Chardonnay, they source their fruit from three Sonoma Coast vineyards – Keefer Ranch, Floodgate, and their own estate property. A tiny amount (15%) of new French oak gives the wine some weight, with added texture from another 15% in concrete eggs. This is everything we expect from Sonoma Coast: a great balance between creamy stone fruit and fragrant floral aromas, lively acidity, and a grippy, spicy edge.
