100% Grenache, 80-year-old vines from west of Lirac in the southern Rhône. This is a big, meaty wines that’s not for the faint-hearted (ABV is 15.5%) but which will reward lovers of full, mouth-coating flavors and tannins. Lots of crunchy, ripe red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, cherry) and spices (pepper, licorice) as well as chewy tannins. Juicy, meaty, and spicy, this will linger in the mouth for a long time.
