Vinho Verde (means "Green Wine" as it's meant to be drunk young) is Portugal's "quaffer" wine. Grapes: Arinto, Lourerro and Alvarinho. Low alcohol, tangy, slight spritz when just opened, light green apple, grapefruit and wet river rock sensations. Meant for drinking with light appetizers and just by itself.
