Erpacrife Sparkling Nebbiolo Piemonte 2018

We have tasted a decent amount of sparkling Nebbiolo with none of them really meeting expectations. This is one that lives up to the grape’s reputation for high quality wines. A light orange/pink color with aromas of candied orange peels, apricot, peach, bright red fruits and wet stones. A zero dosage is crisp and intense with the expressive aromatics matching the intensity of the acid. Méthode Champenoise for 24 months with and additional 36 months post disgorgement before release.
