Eric Texier Chat Fou Cotes du Rhone 2020

Named after Eric's crazy cat, this is a fun and not so serious blend of 45% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, and 15% white varieties, Clairette, Grenache Blanc, & Marsanne. No indication where the other 10% comes from. The wine is red, but it has a lightness to the palate with bold aromas of dried meats, tobacco, dark cherry, and crisp acid.  A very nice balancing act of richness and lightness, creating a perfect wine to pull out of the cooler for warmer weather.
