Enfield "Citrine" Chardonnay California 2017
SKU
4790
From four vineyards across California, though primarily centered on ungrafted 40-year-old vines in Rorick Vineyard in the Sierra Foothills. It’s called “citrine” for the yellow quartz and goldstone soils. It’s barrel fermented, goes through full MLF, and spends three to four months on the lees, followed by another seven months ageing. Aromas of peach, nectarine, white pepper, cinnamon, lees, yogurt, and cream lead on to a round, fresh palate. Very balanced.
