Enfield Chardonnay Haynes Vineyard Coombsville 2018

Hello Meursault! The fruit from the Haynes vineyard is famous for its meticulous farming and cool marine layer, creating one of the mildest growing seasons in Napa.  Only two puncheons are used (old and once used) and the mild oak influence highlights the Chardonnay characteristics, but the terroir is on full display.  Baking spice, crème brûlée, baked apples, and apricot.  Rich, intense, multi-layered, and built for food.
