Elementary Library Series Volume IV Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2015

Just the fourth vintage of this refined Cabernet, which features a different work of art on the label each year. The project is run by Robin Ackhurst, winemaker at Apsara and Swanson, and engineer and passionate blender Brian Schmaltz. Designed to be an ageworthy expression of the vintage, this is a serious, dry, tannic wine with a dusty grip. Plenty of black fruits too, but it’s the texture of the wine where its deep, lasting appeal lies. One to hold – hence the “library collection.”
