El Molino Pinot Noir Rutherford-Napa 2019

When you are one of the first wineries in Napa Valley going back to 1871 you don’t have to follow the masses or the trends,  so in 1991 four acres of the Star Vineyard in Rutherford were converted from Cab to Pinot Noir. This Napa Pinot strikes a balance of light and pretty with plenty of Burgundy-like acid. Fresh roses, cherries, cloves, dried raspberries, red apple and orange zest. An inclusion of 70% whole cluster provides ample aromas of bergamot while providing freshness to the fruit.
