New label from Elias Fernandez and Doug Shafer (Elias has been at Shafer since 1984.) Fruit's from Shafer's "Red Shoulder Ranch," Carneros. Steel tank and briefly aged. Smell and taste lemon-apple, lemon zest, tart green grapes and lemongrass. Has a steely nature while still having a fleshy mouthfeel. Very unique for a Napa Valley white wine. 150 cases made.
