Duorum Colheita Red Douro 2013

A blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz, from two different parcels of land in two different Douro sub-regions at two different altitudes. 12 months oak ageing adds some spicy complexity to the richly aromatic black cherries, tar, mocha, and violets. On the palate, the full, weighty body is balanced perfectly by high acidity, and rounded out by well-integrated, fine-grained tannins. Drink with a pot roast or steak.
