Duas Quintas by Ramos Pintos White 2020

This vintage is a blend of 60% Rabigato, 20% Viosinho and 15% Arinto, and 5% Códega, which probably tells you nothing about what to expect from the grapes, because nobody outside of Portugal has heard of these varieties. A salty minerality, typically found in much pricier wines marks the first aromas. Quince, pears, and pomelo zest keep the mildly waxy texture crisp and zingy. There is a lot of wine here for under $20.
