Mourvedre-based red from the Cote d'Azur on the French Mediterranean. Subtle yet apparent Mourvedre character of gun flint, iron and musk merge with the sun-soaked fruit of Southern France. While many Bandol Rouge can be rustic and "acquired taste" in character, this is more friendly. A good Bandol Rouge to introduce the appellation to the curious.
