Domaine Thivin Cotes de Brouilly Beaujolais 2018

This is a Beaujolais that has the stuffing to age for up to 10 years. Thivin has long been considered the benchmark Château for the village of Côtes du Brouilly. Red fruits, cherries, licorice, earth, and youthful blackberry compliment the deep voluminous texture. The resulting wines, according to Kermit Lynch, resemble “…a country squire who is not afraid to get his boots muddy. Handsome, virile, earthy, and an aristocrat.”
